My name is Todd Weir and I currently play in the Detroit MSBL.  In 2008, I founded Good Wood Bats with an objective to give all levels of amateur  players the opportunity to purchase high-quality wood bats at a reasonable price.

 

We are able to maintain a high level of quality by only purchasing  high-grade wood that is sorted for mostly solid color and straight grain. You don't have to worry about receiving a "Game Bat" and then finding that the strength of the bat  has been compromised due to poor wood grain. It is not "Good Wood" and does not belong in any players hands.  It doesn't matter if its the first at bat of the season or the last at bat of a playoff game, you don't need to worry about your single most important offensive tool failing you.
